The poster says it all! When I think of tequila I’m thinking shots or margarita’s. Tequila shots always seem like a great idea at the time, but………………….. Margaritas on the other hand are delicious and I’ve just updated my site Margarita Time in time for next months Margarita Day.

There is another cocktail that uses Tequila in an unusual flavor combo – mint!

Tequila Stinger

4 parts tequila
2 parts white creme de menthe

Place the ingredients into a shaker with ice and shake well. Strain into a martini glass to serve.

We Are One Concert

As part of President Barrack Obama’s Inauguration celebrations is a free open air concert at the Lincoln Memorial. The celebrations kick off at 2.30pm and it is expected to be PACKED! The gates open at 8am, but people have been queueing since the wee hours and I’m not surprised when you consider who will be performing.

and more. This is a concert that everyone wants to be a part of and luckily they can. The concert is being broadcast on radio stations around the country check out where you can hear it from here.

To fight off the cold I would be taking in some Snuggler with me, this is a drink that is simply peppermint schnapps added to hot chocolate – delicious! Having said that I doubt that alcohol will be allowed so maybe you should stick with filling your thermos with hot coffee!!
