Tis the season to be jolly tra la la la etc etc

I love Christmas – I can’t wait to hear the Snoopy Christmas song, that’s when I know Christmas is just around the corner! Christmas just wouldn’t be Christmas without some egg nog.

There is more to Christmas than egg nog though and I have my whole collection of Christmas Cocktails waiting for you at Christmas Cocktails, for a sneak peak I’ll let you know one of the recipes right now.

Christmas Martini

3 shots gin
1/2 shot dry vermouth
1/4 shot peppermint schnapps
mini candy cane

Shake all of the liquid ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Strain into a martini glass and garnish with a mini candy cane for that festive feel.

    Peppermint schnapps with gin? Oh noes.

    I’ll stick with my Kamikaze Christmastini, which always helps me get into the spirit.

      It is an unusual flavor combination, but don’t knock it until you’ve tried it! I’ll have to see if I can get some Kamikaze shots so that I can try your cocktail – Merry, Merry Christmas!!
