It Isn’t Easy Being Green

On May 9th 1955 Sam and Friends debuts on a local television channel and we get our first glimpse of Kermit. In honor of the little green ones I’m going to give you a couple of Green Cocktails today.

Grasshopper

4 parts green crème de menthe
4 parts white crème de menthe
4 parts half-n-half

Put all of the ingredients into a cocktail shaker with cracked ice and shake well. Strain into a cocktail glass to serve.

Emerald Martini

3 shots vodka
1 shot dry vermouth
¼ shot green charteuse

Put all of the ingredients into a cocktail shaker with cracked ice and shake well. Strain into a cocktail glass to serve.
