Today celebrates the 25th anniversary of the release of True, the iconic 80s love ballad.
Now I’m feeling soppy so how about some valentine cocktails?
Strawberry Kiss
1 shot white rum
1 shot amaretto
4 strawberries
1 shot double cream
Blend all of the ingredients together, with ice, until smooth and then serve in a red wine glass. If it’s hard to get strawberries then use two scoops of strawberry ice cream in place of the strawberries, cream and ice.
Elixir of Love
This cocktail also has amaretto, let’s face it it’s an Italian liqueur and the Italians know all about romance!
½ shot white rum
1 shot amaretto
1 shot dark crème de cacao
1 shot cream
Shake all of the ingredients together in a shaker, then pour into a tumbler over crushed ice.
