Well on this day in history Bob Henrit was born back in 1944. Bob is an English drummer who was in groups such as The Roulettes and The Kinks.
That’s him, right at the beginning of the song, You Really Got Me is, I think, one of my favorite Kinks songs.
He was also in a group called the Zombies which leads us to today’s cocktail
The Zombie
4 parts dark rum
4 parts light rum
2 parts 151-proof rum
2 parts triple sec
1 tsp pernod
2 parts fresh lime juice
2 parts fresh orange juice
2 parts pineapple juice
2 parts guava nectar
1 tbsp grenadine
1 tbsp almond syrup
Combine all of the ingredients, with ice, in a blender. Blend until smooth and pout into a Collins glass to serve.
