Daiquiri’s are absolutely fabulous drinks, you know there are even companies that hire our machines to make frozen daiquiri’s for your parties. I must admit though one daiquiri is my limit as I find them very strong.
I have found some fun daiquiri gear which is on my squidoo lens below:

If you’re planning a trip away with a group of friends then maybe you could have daiquiri tops or hats as your “drinking uniform”. Could be fun.
A basic daiquiri is made as below:
4 parts light rum
1 ½ parts fresh lime juice (fresh is definitely best)
½ tsp sugar syrup
Combine all of the ingredients into a cocktail shaker with cracked ice and give it a good shake. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
Of course you can also get frozen daiquiris and a whole host of other flavors, click on this link for more recipes

Why don’t you post your favorite daiquiri recipe in the comments for me to see?
Until next time

Hi Louanne,
Just thought i’d tell you that the URL behind your squidoo link is invalid. It takes viewers to squidoo/cocktail party and not squidoo/def_of_cocktails.
You have some very insightful articles at Helium that i’m sure countless members are learning from. I know where to go know before my next stop at the liquor store, your articles!
Thanks,
Crystal

Thanks Crystal
I don’t know how that happened, but I think it’s fixed up now.
Thanks for your kind words, you’ll have to leave me a link for your helium page so I can check out your articles, we heliumites have to stick together!!!
